it's like a paradise there, seriously. although we definitely didnt like the great amts of insects flying around esp at night, not so good toilets, all this didnt matter at all with the...

- FRIENDLY and INNOCENT kids COSI. TOO ADORABLE (: (: (:
- great company
- great guidance from carol and 9 adults
- demure and nice women from EWC

i seriously wouldnt mind living there after spending one week there, it's like you can just forget about reality and have fun playing with the kids. AHHH it was definitely a fruitful trip and i really hope we can go back there again next yr after a levels. i missssss them so much alrrr but, home is always the best bah! HOME SWEET HOME =D

we basically taught the kids english, art and craft, played games with them, take alot of photos (hahaha the kids love photos more than us!), teach the women mandarin, build walkway (didnt really help with this but we saw the final 'pdt')

and not forgetting jokes about output etc.! Hahaha sighh omg i will miss them. they are so sweet especially after giving us letters before we left and planning farewell performances. oh my, you just cant help it but cry. i miss them terribly )': the women are so nice too. after she gave us the gifts on the last day of mandarin lesson, she was like 'i love you sister' omg it was super touching (':

food was not bad too! surprisingly, and there was aircon in the dorm (: hmmmm all 6 of us sort of have our own 'xin1gan1bao3beis4' heh! yay i love pon, phan, riya, sannita, nou, ben etc. =D thank youuu for making my days <3

but ya the city was completely different from COSI. at night you could see drunkards, glue sniffers, beggars all over the place. haii back to reality ):

alright, next would be the starting of hol hw, class chalet, guitar pracs, taiwan tripp and moreeee!

hello dead blog i missed you! haha okay but i've sort of lost my interest for blogging alr actually and i bet nobody comes to visit so maybe not really =P well, but since PROMOS ARE OVER i do have an urge to talk about some things (:

PROMOS are...ummm i think examiners are quite mean, they should lower the standards during eoy papers right? well that wasnt the case )': esp bio and econs sighh..

anyway after the paper i went to ION orchard with yumi and jacey! bev was sick take care girl! haha we ate at Sho Teppan which i think was really cool we can cook our stuff! a bit like pepper lunch. jacey and i had tori yaki UDON (HAHA hidden meaning) and yumi had rice..i cant rmb the jap name =P jacey kept dumping me her mushrooms and i dumped a bit of my onions to her. heh! then we went to LIDO to watch (500) days of summer which was a pretty good movie! like a diff style of american romantic comedy. and it's like, this time round, the girl was more of a 'jerk' than the guy so...i thought it was quite original la (: and some meaningful quotes too. about fate vs coincidence..yep!

then we walked and window-shopped. a bit depressing cos cannot buy, no money then. ): then they kept trying to link items to sth HAHA! after that we ate again =P ate yami yoghurt at ion orchard food hall, plus the 'fish jap snack' (uhoh what's the name) with banana and choc. mmm! walked around a bit more, than went home. (:

today went to the gym with my family (: had nice bimbimbap for lunch! im going to HOGC later! hmm i think service would be good? (: than tmr it's shopping with jacey and bella at haji lane yeahh! mon would be class outing hehe which we're still planning..

ohwell. i feel free! not totally, but free-er!

ohyess how could i forgot to blog about this!!! hahaha thank you bella for accompanying me to watch The Time Traveler's Wife on fri (: i was so excited to watch it after hearing all the good comments about the book. hmm honestly, i would have expected more, like they jumped here and there, but i think it's a lovely lovestory and a good movie to watch. but maybe if u read the book before, u wont find it as nice. But aww, clare and henry are super sweet and romantic, i wont mind watching again =D

in the end, sat was good, we managed to get most of the presents (: and yup, hehe had fun!

then it was teachers' day 31 aug! whee, our very first guitar performance with whole ensemble! mr quek said he was proud of us and the audience did like it i hope! =D then it was off to NY for a while, saw ms seb, zuolaoshi, mrs chew and ms lee/mrs lam haha! niceee, miss them! had island creamery for lunch (heh!) with stef and jessica and we took a nice photo there! then went back home, and brought yumi to my house! hehe then received alot of phonecalls abt how to get to ECP etc, pretty stressful since i havent taken bus there for a long time =P then my mum gave me, yumi, bev, melvin and damien a lift to NTUC to buy drinks, then off to ECP for GEMS! yay cycling was quite fun bah! but the time was a bit short. had MACS for dinner, then around 15 of them came to my house! haha had to play a bit of zhantaifeng on the GZ, damien too, then we ate mangoes, talked a bit, and watched 200 pounds beauty! yay such a nice moviee. fun day with class! (:

the rest of the time..haha cant really remember and not so memorable, and now it's time to handle PROMOS so byebye blog for a while, hopefully bye to FB for a while too ): night!

so yesterday, it was scary at first! we thought we were short of one chair, then serene was like 'no chair no chair'! then we started panicking and i thought serene and i were going to share chairs! haha luckily it was just a small mistake, but it was super funny (: so now we're the no chair guitar ensemble! and super united =D

whoo long weekend! lets hope we can catch up with work. but apparently, haha i dunno ): going to be busy with class stuff now! quite fun la, with teachers' day and GEMS (: hope today will be a happy day k i shall go do work first!

haha in the end we couldnt have class outing cos many people couldnt make it ): nvm there is GEMS yes! cyclingg hopefully =D well, i had a happy nat day with my relatives in the morn at macritchie treetop walk =D then left to do PW, hehe it was quite funny! we were preparing for our mini-trial so raash, lijun, cavin, melvin and i were taking photos for our games which made everyone laugh, yay! pw can be fun sometimes, but the report/EOM part? hahaha no way.

i feel a bit empty and sad, havent been to my cousin's church for two weeks already. haha, not that i prefer his to the mass i go to every week, but it's just that sometimes i feel one hour per week isn't really enough? if i go to my cousin's church, it's 3 hrs per week. more time with god. plus, i get to spend time with new great friends that are ever so friendly (: like alvina! haha, we have only known her for like a month and it seems like a year? last but not least, i get to spend time with one of my BFFs who is Burger King =D HAHAHA

haha surprise! i didnt exactly delete my blog, just that i really didnt have much time to blog and the mood to update to i temporarily changed the link, but ya it's back! but stagnant =P

happy national day! ahh so much has happened and im still sleepy from the late nights of pw and stuff, but ya little things make me happy (: like yesterday i went to ION orchard with yumi, jacey, and tzehan! it's my fav shopping centre now! =D OMG the yummy food haha! we ate fish & co, and dunkin donuts! wheee then went to yumi's house to do hw and jacey and yumi fell asleep =P then had YLEP retreat at haidee's house, which was pretty fun especially the identity game (:

tmr is national day! gonna eat lunch with family, tuition, PW phototaking, and maybe a movie with family =D haha then sun there is relative hike/tree top walk at macritchie, then class outing at sentosa! which damien and i have to confirm. pls go for class outing! =D
